Walking Narrows

"The Narrows" Zions Canyon
June 21st
In order to get to the narrows you have to ride the Zions shuttle to the last stop in the Canyon then walk
a mile to get to the river where it starts, Tj wasn't to thrilled about the mile hike in and we were all less thrilled about it on the way back out the whole round trip probably took us 6 hours I am not sure how far we ended up going into the canyon, but it was worth it. It is beautiful in the canyon and the water is deep enough to swim in some spots. There were people jumping off big rocks into some of the deeper pools. Our suggestion to anyone wanting to do this go on a weekday and try to start by 9 a.m at the latest.
Is the water Cold Joe?
Yes is was pretty cool but felt good later in the day when
it was hot...

Beautiful Day!!!!

Great Scenery!!!!

Joe is a Chicken when it comes to deep water he cant float....

Me trying to teach him how to float but I think the boy has rocks  for muscles

So Cute!!!!

Cool little waterfalls

Mammoth Creek "Uncle Teds Cabin"
June 11th 2012

T.J. and I met my cousin Pam at her dads cabin we helped her open it for the sea

Pam fishing at Panguitch Lake

She was the only one that caught a fish.!!!!!!

This is what you do when the fish are not biting.

TJ baiting her hook with power bait good thing it wasn't a worm she wont put a worm on the hook!!!! HAHA
Guess who showed up ?
If you guessed Joe you are right. He just cant stay away from TJ or he has become
addicted to fishing not sure which.
Dang Fish I sure wish they would bite,
I even put pink lemonade bait on !!!!

Awwwww aren't they just so cute.....
I think he crushed her legs. hahaha

Duck Creek Pond
If you look close you can see a momma duck and all her baby's there were 8 of them.
This is truly a Duck pond there were probably 40 or more ducks on it.

Pam and I fished at Duck creek Pond, didn't catch a thing unless moss counts....

TJ and I have decided to do a Summer Blog!! we are going to try and be more adventures this Summer and
travel a little bit and go see some sites and have some mom and daughter fun !

May 27th 2012

Our first little adventure was to go for a Sunday drive, we started out from our house and decided to head up to Brian Head Resort then over to Panguitch Lake and then thru Panguitch and back to the freeway and home.
Here are some pics of our little outing.

Brian Head Peak
View from Brian Head Peak

It was Freezing up here 31 degrees but it was worth putting up with a little cold for the view, I don't know how many times we have been to Brian Head and never taken this little dirt road the view was amazing you are able to see views of 3 different States !!

We then headed back down the road and stopped at the next viewing spot it was called Sunset view it was 36 degrees here a nice older gentlemen in the car next to us told us that as he sat there waiting for his wife to go take pictures... HAHAHA here are couple pics from this stop.

Its hard to tell from the pic but this was really deep
and very beautiful!!!

Next stop was Chessman Ridge, good thing I had a beautiful
model to stand by the signs and make them look good :)
View from Chessman Ridge Amazing!!!

From here we had to turn around and go back to the turn off for Panguitch Lake and on the way there we took a little detour to mammoth creek to see if anyone was at Uncle Teds cabin.
